Tuesday Night 6/3/14:
We have worked our way through 'The Wisdom' to 'The Yoga of the Discerning Mind' chapter.
We looked at the Meditation on the Past section. Memory used as a transcending function.
Remember the exercise. Before sleep, preferably, or right as arising recall the events of the past 24 hours.
Look at the meaning and value laden things that happened. Critically but clearly. (This is a short summary -please read the whole thing.
Remember you will do this after you die, so you may as well start now. For those who will not die.....
Objectify your own body in the looking.
PB points out that that doing this helps inculcate the fact nature of the Witness within, and helps to thin the line between the Transcendent and conventional phases of our natures as living Beings alive.
